WE HAVE SNOW...... Trail conditions in the central area are poor to fair east of Gander and good from Gander to Glenwood. Trial was groomed Thursday night from Gander to Gambo Pond.. Trails groomed from Gander to Glenwood Friday, March 12, 2010. Trail from Gander towards Gambo will be done Saturday night March 13, 2010 Warm tempuratures and sunny days are not allowing for good grooming. If the temperatures remain warm, grooming will be very limited.
WARNING.....There are several areas with "very little snow" and there are areas with a lot of water, slush and ice. Brooks and ponds are not sound. Please do not ride on water or proceed with caution. With these unstable weather conditions, extra caution is required. The additional snow has enhanced some areas, but do to high winds it has left many areas driffted in or with no snow... Please use caution, care and control There have been many riders that are venturing off the beaten path and riding in "unknown" territory or conditions. Power Lines and Ponds are very dangerours. Know your route, let someone know where you are going, reduce your speed and drive with caution. The number of snowmobile accidents and fatalities have increased this year due to poor riding conditions. We all want to get out on our snow machines, but please know where you are going, know that it is safe to travel and proceed with caution. RIDE SAFE - KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RIDING - PROCEED WITH CAUTION...
